Abstract/Summary

At the annual information and technology sharing event, hosted by Texas Tech University and the Society of Petroleum Engineers, a paper was presented by Xencom Communications [former EET Technology Partner].  It showed the results of tests with three EET Power Manager units (Model - PM385 ) on pump jacks owned by Chevron.  The conclsions showed 11.25% average energy savings.  These results were met with much interest by the attendees.

General Summary In direct competition with major industrial competitors, ITS Power Mangers were contracted for use in the Orlando Airport.  These devices were the only motor control product that qualified for installation.  8% savings was documented in an application that typically doe snot allow for energy savings.
Abstract/Summary

In 1993, 61 Power Manager units (15hp - 40hp) were installed on Orlando Airport's Air Handlers and Exhaust fans.  After installation, air handler unit motor controller performance was measured and was verfied to save 8%.  These savings values surpassed any other motor controller bidder and veriable frequency (speed) drive proposals.
